I’m Paul Constant.
I write journalism, criticism, essays, and comic books.
I’m a fellow at Civic Ventures, a public policy incubator, and a cofounder of the award-winning Seattle Review of Books. My writing has appeared in BuzzFeed, the L.A. Times, The Stranger, Business Insider, i09, the Seattle Times, and in many other magazines, newspapers, and websites. A comic that I co-created, Planet of the Nerds, was optioned by Paramount Players for a film adaptation. My second full-length comic, Snelson: Comedy Is Dying, was a New York Public Library Best Adult Comic selection for 2022.
At the end of every month, I publish a free newsletter that rounds up everything I’ve been writing, reading, and thinking about. You can sign up for it right here.
